while we were in wichita i made one of my quintessential lame throw back jokes "we're on the prairie where is that little house"

nobody laughed but i found out that it was in independence, kansas, which we just so happened to be driving through on our way to chase and apnea's...to the little house we went for some g rated fun

but it was closed and there was nobody there, so we decided to do what we always do...desecrate some childhood memories by forever associating them with boobs...off came amy's shirt in front of the historic home of laura engels wilder and snap came the polaroids

trying to capture a shot of the negative on a polaroid is tough

sometimes i don't feel like focusing, get sick of retouching, work, focus, and all of the inorganic parts of taking a photo.

sometimes i just want to see color and shape

i think its best when the model doesn't realize this, it just seems like i'm shooting very fast

and i am, but i get to focus on something more than focus

its nice to get away from everything you'd seemingly want in a photo, with fantastic equipment available and lenses that capture split ends, and just enjoy color...its what everything looks like when you wake up after falling asleep with your contacts in.
