Thanks for all the great questions last night. For those of you who haven't checked the post since then, go to the previous Q&A post, and you can read the various questions and my responses.

Here's an example of using limitations to your advantage. I was doing a shoot in a hotel room with my friend Rose a few years ago, and there weren't that many interesting options for getting a memorable image. I'm sure you all know how uninteresting most modern hotel rooms are. Anyway, I shot a few images and almost gave up thinking that the photo below was the best I could do. (story continues below)
She then stood up and I noticed the lamp which was hanging over the empty space where we had moved a desk out of the way. And then I had my 'ah-ha!' moment and told her to stand behind the lamp. The following photo was the result and has since become one of my most recognized images. Had I had tons of lighting equipment, this moment would never have materialized because I wouldn't have had to desperately improvise. In fact, the reason I developed my black and white style was because I was never technically trained in photography. It was that limitation that forced me shoot only in certain lighting conditions and as a result, my look was born.

Sorry, no new photo to upload tonight. It's been a super busy day. Anyone have any questions for me? I'd be happy to answer whatever. Just ask something, and don't leave me hanging!

Thanks for all the orders yesterday and today. I managed to get everything in the mail on time. I'll be making another trip to the post office tomorrow for any additional orders.
This is a photograph from over the summer when I was playing around with some experimental imagery with my iPhone and girlfriend. I found it a bit too experimental for my usual style so I never made it public, until now. Take it or leave it, I tend to like it for personal reasons.

Thanks for the kind response here at LateNightFeelings. Now that I've attracted you, here's a little sales pitch. Sorry about the spam, but us starving (or at least mildly hungry) artists could use some lunch money.
The holiday season is here, and if you know a special someone who appreciates erotic photography, please consider my inexpensive gift options. To celebrate a great year and to show my appreciation, I've included some nice deals for you. Offers end Dec. 31, 2009.

A somewhat non-typical photo from me. It's a bit more sexual and porny than most of my work but that's because it's from a shoot I did for Taboo Magazine in 2006. The model is Ashley Fires. After this shoot, I started shooting her regularly for Stockroom.com. She's a truly wonderful model to work with - completely fun, super friendly, and very down-to-earth.

I've never really embraced digital photography. All my black and white images have been shot on film because it's what I'm most passionate about aesthetically. I'm somewhat indifferent about color photography so I've never been super particular with how I shoot it. That's why I've used digital for my color images. I'd still shoot color on film if it weren't for the immediacy and convenience of digital. However, my black and white HAS to have my distinct look and feel, and I cannot get that with digital.
I've recently decided to take my love of film back to its basics - light and composition. To achieve this, I've gone super old school and have started shooting with a Holga pinhole camera. To make it even more textural and surreal, most of these images are hand-held with exposures at approximately 12 seconds each. Many are too blurry to count as decent images, but there are gems amongst the efforts. The photograph below is one of my recent favorites.
"Jessica, Los Angeles 2009"
Shot on Kodak Tmax 400 35mm film with a Holga pinhole camera. Processed in D-76 in my kitchen and scanned with a Nikon Superscan 9000ED scanner in my office. No Photoshop except the watermark.
A few more examples of my erotic pinhole work can be found on my Flickr account. However, in order to see the nude work, you need to have your SafeSearch turned off.
I also have portfolios of my non-erotic pinhole photography on my other Flickr account. Warning: there are NO hot chicks there. For true lovers of photography only!

Hey everyone, I'm totally thrilled to be your guest blogger here. I hope to share some fun stories and photos from my many adventures of taking photos. Here's a photo taken during one of my Stockroom.com photoshoots. This is me being distracted from my duties by Justine Joli and Kimberly Kane. Damn girls, all I want to do is take pictures! Leave me to my craft damn it! This was taken shortly after we got the cover shot of the then new catalog. Here's a link to the final cover.
