Elana came over today. I met Elana on the internet, and one day asked her if I could take her picture. And I mean, I didn't know her on the internet, like how you know, you have friends on the internet. I mean we were both on the same message board but we'd never actually talked before in any way. Going to her apartment to shoot her was truly going to see a stranger from the internet. Lucky for her I am no weirdo! Luck that I didn't get drunk with her in the middle of the afternoon and then tell her to take all her clothes off! LUCKY FOR HER!*

Anyway. Meeting her in real life was kinda awesome. She's what you hope "meeting people from the internet" is always like. She's hilarious, smart, geeky, has great hair and does interesting things, like sing in a Jewish a cappella group. And to top it all off, she lets me call her a Jewanese! (Jewish and Japanese, which she is by the way...)

 This shoot was our second time hanging out together, and we were on a tight schedule but we still managed to both get naked, eat General Tao Chicken chips, listen to Korean pop music, discuss Tchaikovsky, Judaism, phonetics and also talk about why she's going to law school. 

Elana has a great laugh. I think secretly I like her so much because I just like to hear her laugh and see her smile. Plus, I think her Jewaneseness is badass. Elana is number one!

Yeah, I totally just said that. And then posted that picture.  You can, uh, imagine that I didn't cut the "number one" finger off, okay? Good. Has more impact that way.
